When does a company know it’s time for a headquarters of its own? For Bancomat, that moment came alongside a transformation already underway. After years in a coworking space, its new headquarters, designed by Il Prisma within Palazzo Sturzo in Rome, was created to support this evolution. An identity-driven workplace that gives physical form to a work culture already taking shape

Spread across 1,800 sqm, the workplace translates this evolution into a spatial organization aligned with Bancomat’s evolving corporate culture. Open and enclosed spaces coexist on equal terms, moving beyond a traditional hierarchical layout. Meeting rooms of different sizes, focus rooms, phone booths, coffee spots and informal areas create a workplace that adapts to the different rhythms of the working day.

Bancomat’s identity is evident from the moment you enter. Graphics inspired by digital circuits, a central reception desk and an integrated LED wall define a welcome area where the brand becomes part of the space itself. The color palette further reinforces this identity: blue reflects Bancomat’s visual identity, while green is introduced through planting and natural details, bringing a warmer and more informal atmosphere.

The project engages with the architecture of Palazzo Sturzo while expressing a contemporary design language. Stone-inspired flooring recalls the building’s material character, wood introduces warmth, while metal finishes with linear lighting express the workplace’s technological identity. Acoustic comfort, ergonomics and environmental quality complete the project, creating more effective conditions for everyday work.
The new headquarters marks the transition from a shared workspace to a placewhere people can recognize themselves. A workplace that makes Bancomat’s identity tangible while supporting its continued evolution.
