L’innovazione digitale 4.0 non si racconta, si vive

Come possiamo creare un luogo fisico in grado di supportare la sfida digitale di una società di consulenza strategica? Quando Bain & Company, società leader nella consulenza strategica, ci ha chiesto di progettare gli spazi interni per un Digital Innovation Hub, il nostro team Cross BU ha unito le forze per realizzare un luogo in grado di far vivere realmente l’innovazione digitale 4.0.

Collocato al terzo piano della sede milanese di Bain & Company, il nuovo spazio si ispira allo stesso concept che ha pervaso la progettazione degli uffici, anch’essi realizzati da Il Prisma. Chiamato Bain HubITA, il concept racconta lo spirito innovativo della società (l’hub), la sua attenzione al benessere (l’habitat) e il legame con il territorio (l’italianità). Il risultato è uno spazio immersivo di circa 700 mq articolati in aree showroom e coworking, vera e propria casa del mondo digitale di Bain & Company.

Showroom: possiamo entrare nel futuro qui e ora?

L’ingresso, di grande impatto sensoriale, è un iconico corridoio digitale, nero e rosso, con luci interattive che invitano il visitatore a varcare la soglia dello straordinario mondo del digitale. La direzione? Si punta verso il True North, la cui freccia, che riprende la forma del logo di Bain & Company, si accende in fondo del corridoio.

Superato l’ingresso, ci si immerge in una dimensione phygital e fluida dello spazio espositivo, che si sviluppa in due ambienti: Showroom e Immersive Room. Pareti interattive, contenuti multimediali in realtà aumentata, proiezioni su parete: la tecnologia pervade ogni aspetto dello spazio, ma si avvia solo grazie all’interazione dell’utente con l’ambiente. L’Immersive Room, infatti, è dove si entra, letteralmente, nel mondo digitale di Bain & Company; il visitatore non è più un osservatore passivo ma diventa il protagonista diretto dell’esperienza. Grazie all’anima phygital, lo Showroom è in grado di declinarsi e adattarsi ad hoc ad ogni cliente e, in base al suo settore, può trasformarsi in un negozio, un auditorium, una centrale. L’obiettivo è quello di anticipare le esigenze del cliente dandogli al contempo la possibilità di visualizzare e sperimentare appieno i prodotti e le strategie digitali che trasformeranno la sua azienda. Benvenuti al laboratorio digitale del futuro.

Digital Workspace: più flessibilità nell’uso degli spazi

Soluzioni trasformabili e modulabilità caratterizzano invece l’area dedicata al digital (co)working, il luogo dove nasce la tecnologia di Bain & Company. Pareti scrivibili, scrivanie regolabili in altezza, una sala riunione riconfigurabile: tutto è pensato per garantire la massima comodità, senza rinunciare alla performance. L’area del digital working si estende e confluisce in uno spazio di continuità con l’open space, che ospita invece i Bainees.

Digital innovation 4.0? You have to live it

Is there a way to create a physical place capable of supporting a company’s digital challenge? When Bain & Company, a top management consulting firm, asked us to design the interiors for a Digital Innovation Hub, our Cross Bu team joined forces to implement a place where one could really live digital innovation 4.0.

Set on the third floor of Bain & Company Milan HQ, the new space is inspired by the same concept that pervaded the design of the offices, likewise implemented by Il Prisma. Called Bain HubITA, the design concept speaks of the innovation spirit of the company (hub), its attention to employees’ well-being (habitat) and relationship with the territory (ITA). The result is an immersive space of 700 sqm divided into showroom and coworking areas – a genuine home of the digital world of Bain & Company.

Showroom: can we enter the future here and now?

The entrance, of high sensorial impact, is an iconic digital corridor, in black and red, with interactive lights inviting the visitor to cross the threshold of the extraordinary world of digital. What’s the direction? Towards the True North whose arrow, shaped after the Bain & Company logo, lights up at the end of the corridor.

Once passed the entrance, you immerse yourself in a phygital and fluid dimension of the display area, divided into Showroom and Immersive Room. Interactive walls, multimedia content in augmented reality, projections on the wall: the technology pervades every aspect of the space, but it only starts thanks to the user's interaction with the environment. The Immersive Room, in fact, is where you (literally) enter the digital world of Bain & Company; the visitor is no longer a passive observer, but rather a direct protagonist of the experience. Thanks to its phygital soul, the Showroom is capable of adapting itself ad hoc to each client and, according to the client’s sector, can turn into a shop, an auditorium, etc. The goal is to anticipate clients’ needs while giving them the opportunity to visualize and fully experience digital products and strategies that will transform their companies. Welcome to a true digital laboratory of the future.

Digital workspace: more flexibility in the use of spaces

Transformable solutions and modularity characterize the area dedicated to digital (co)working, that is a birthplace of the technology of Bain & Company. Writable walls, height-adjustable desks, a reconfigurable meeting room: everything is designed to ensure maximum comfort, without giving up on performance. The digital working area extends and flows into a space of continuity with the open space, hosting Bainees.

What’s a Rich Text element?

The rich text element allows you to create and format headings, paragraphs, blockquotes, images, and video all in one place instead of having to add and format them individually. Just double-click and easily create content.

Static and dynamic content editing

A rich text element can be used with static or dynamic content. For static content, just drop it into any page and begin editing. For dynamic content, add a rich text field to any collection and then connect a rich text element to that field in the settings panel. Voila!

How to customize formatting for each rich text

Headings, paragraphs, blockquotes, figures, images, and figure captions can all be styled after a class is added to the rich text element using the "When inside of" nested selector system.
